I still need to do an externship (paying 4 credit hours to work 120 hours most likely unpaid) to complete my degree at a location I have to find with little or no help from my adviser (who every time I ask for a meeting for help simply asks me if I have a site). This makes it extremely hard to apply for the positions that sound interesting and I may well be qualified for. *sigh* Of course the whole working idea is a huge range of emotions in itself. I haven't worked out of the house for well over a decade.
